At the time of CAI’s investment, Bio-Research, located near Montreal, Quebec, was a contract research organization providing preclinical and bioanalytical research services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and chemical industries. Bio-Research had an extensive international client base, including many large and market-leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. CAI sold its position in Bio-Research to a strategic buyer.
