Vancouver, BC – October 21, 2022 – CAI Capital Partners (“CAI”) is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, CMT Technical Services, Inc. and its related companies (together, “CMT”), has successfully closed the strategic acquisition of CTC-Geotek, Inc. (“CTC”), a leading Colorado-based consulting engineering firm specializing in construction material testing and inspection, specialty testing, geological consulting, and geotechnical and environmental engineering services.
The acquisition, together with the prior acquisition of Cesare, Inc., position CMT as a market leading provider of technical services in Colorado, allowing the combined organization to better support and service its customers and provide enhanced opportunities for its ~300 employees.
CTC is led by Bob Scavuzzo who will continue with the business as a senior project manager overseeing the special inspections service line in Colorado for CMT.
CTC is CMT’s fifth acquisition since inception and the third since partnering with CAI in September 2020. The acquisition of CTC aligns with the Company’s long-term strategy of expanding its service offering and geographical footprint as a leading provider of technical services.
