GreenArrow unites three exceptional infrastructure services businesses: Midwestern Electric (“MWE”), which CAI partnered with in November 2021; Kuharchik Construction (“Kuharchik”), partnered with in June 2023; and Bear Electrical Solutions (“Bear”), the latest addition, in August 2024. Now coming together under the GreenArrow banner, the company and its 500+ employees will be led by newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Lloyd Kuehn. MWE, Kuharchik, and Bear are trusted providers of specialized electrical infrastructure services, focusing on the maintenance and installation of traffic signals, streetlights, intelligent transportation systems, and utility systems. MWE, established in 1971 and based in Indiana, serves the state and parts of Illinois. Similarly, Kuharchik, established in 1973 and based in Pennsylvania, primarily operates within the state. Bear, the newest addition to the GreenArrow family, established in 2013 and based in California, is a leading provider of the maintenance and installation of traffic signals, streetlights, and other critical transportation infrastructure, including electric vehicle charging stations, across more than 100 public agencies statewide.
In conjunction with the formation of GreenArrow, Lloyd Kuehn has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Lloyd brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the engineering and construction industry, particularly in critical infrastructure end markets. He has a proven track record of driving growth and guiding high-performing teams. Most recently, Lloyd served as Vice President of Business Integration and Vice President and General Manager of the Road Services division at GeoStabilization International, a former CAI portfolio company. As General Manager for RoadGuard, he was responsible for driving strategic integration initiatives for the company and accountable for all U.S. operations for the Road Services division. Additionally, Lloyd serves on the Board of Directors at CMT Technical Services, a current CAI portfolio company. Lloyd holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver. His expertise in M&A integrations, creating scalable operations, and building high-performing teams will be instrumental in overseeing the strategy and continued growth of GreenArrow. Ryan Rentschler of Midwestern will continue to oversee operations for the Eastern Region, while Andrew Bader of Bear will continue to oversee operations for the Western Region.
